I love spending time doing research for my clients. I am continually looking for new or renovated event venues, creative florists, talented photographers, great musicians and other wedding industry professionals, who would make a wedding or special event unique and beautiful. We are very fortunate in the North Texas to have so much to choose from.
For the busy couples that are planning their weddings, it may be overwhelming to do the research on venues and vendors, and this is where a professional planner can step in and help. Having years of experience, we know exactly what to look for and what questions to ask.
We constantly visit venues and learn everything about what they provide and what their costs are, so we can then present a variety of suggestions to our clients and save them a great amount of time and leg work.
Here are a few venues I recently visited or worked with that I want to highlight for you.
On The Levee– a new venue in the Dallas Design District. This a great venue that is actually a blank canvas where you can completely customize to your needs and is very spacious. The location is convenient, tables and chairs are provided, and you can bring in any caterer you desire.
The Mason Dallas– located in Oak Cliff Dallas, constructed in 1920 and in redesigned in 2020 into a beautiful venue with a Parisian flair. It has two spacious ballrooms great for a ceremony and reception, spacious bridal suite and nice groom’s lounge. The Mason is located in Oak Cliff just two miles from downtown Dallas and has over 10,000 square feet of usable event space. Check out the high wainscoting, reclaimed flooring and exposed brick, Gracie wall coverings, Farrow and Ball paint and beautiful décor.
The Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas – located in the midst of Las Colinas bustling urban development. The hotel was recently renovated to a more current modern look. It has a beautiful outdoor waterfront courtyard for ceremonies and 2 flexible space ballrooms. The Omni Mandalay is a nice resort that can also provide a great weekend experience for your out-of-town guests.
Stone Crest Venue McKinney– located on 20 acres in the small town of New Hope, only 5 minutes from Historic McKinney, a lodge-like, modern, industrial venue that is unique and feels as if you are in the Hill country. It is a beautiful and convenient venue for outdoor ceremonies that also has a nice size reception hall.
Virgin Hotels Dallas- Step inside Virgin Hotels Dallas and find your new favorite space where the doors are never closed and the minds are always open. Located in the Dallas Design District with a unique mid mod flair.
